Memorial men's skip, Greg Blyde, feels prepared for the weekend. He says "we have had a pretty rigorous practice schedule all year. Competitions have been pretty sparse but it allows us to peak for every event we play in and we hope it is the same for this one".

The women's skip, Mackenzie Glynn, says "my team and I feel very confident heading into this weekend! This is our first event as a team however our front end placed second at last year's AUS so with that advantage, as well as having home ice advantage, I feel as though we have a really good chance at the championship this year".
