Sea-Hawks Defeated in Semifinal

 

Summary

The Sea-Hawks got out to a fast start at the 2018 AUS Curling Championships, winning three of their first four matches and clinching a spot in the four team playoff on Sunday.

Memorial would drop their last match of the round robin to UNB by a score of 7-6, dropping their record to 3-2 and moving them into the third overall seed. They would once again match up with UNB in the semifinal, but were once again unable to get past the Varsity Reds. They would drop the match 7-2, ending their tournament.

The men's team was skipped by Greg Blyde and includes Liam Gregory, Kyle Barron, and Ian Withycombe. Their coach is Craig Withycombe.
