Sea-Hawks Soccer Go Pink

(Oct. 19, 2013) The Sea-Hawks soccer teams are proud to dedicate Sunday’s game to people in their lives who have been affected by cancer as part of the Go Pink Game.

 

Go PinkThe teams have fundraised for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and will wear special shirts with a pink Sea-Hawks logo for the game.

 

Here are just some of the people that the Sea-Hawks will be dedicating tomorrow's game to:

 

  • Head coach Walt Mavin is coaching for Shirley and Florence Matthews (breast cancer survivors)
  • Keeper coach Leslie Bradshaw is coaching for Geralyn Lambe (cancer survivor)
  • Maria Oliver is playing in memory of Roberta Hallett
  • Jessie Noseworthy is playing for Jane Hickey and Annie Reid
  • Chelsea and Jenny Tiller are playing for their mom Val Tiller
  • Noelle Stanford is playing for Lucy Walters
  • Alexe Morgan is playing for Beverly Carey
  • Jennifer Burry is playing for Nancy Cook
  • Jane Pope is playing in memory of Olive Andrews, Thomas Pope & Clifton Andrews
