Breen and Harris finish varsity careers as All-Canadians
Breen 4-time All-Canadian Senior Laura
Breen has been named a CIS first team All-Canadian for the second
time in her career. She was named a first team All-Canadian in 2008
and a second team All-Canadian in 2005 and 2006. Breen finished her
varsity career with 39 goals. She was the Atlantic University Sport
Player of the Year in 2008. |

The only other athletes in Memorial’s history who have achieved at least three All-Canadian honours are cross country runner Paul McCloy (five-time first team), women’s basketball player Jenine Browne (four-time first team), and cross country runner Anne Barrington (one first team and two second team). Senior Laura
Breen has been named a CIS first team All-Canadian for the second
time in her career. She was named a first team All-Canadian in 2008
and a second team All-Canadian in 2005 and 2006. Breen finished her
varsity career with 39 goals. She was the Atlantic University Sport
Player of the Year in 2008.
Malorie Harris, a
fifth year midfielder from Mount Pearl, has been named a second
team All-Canadian for the third time in her career, having
previously been recognized in 2007 and 2008. Harris scored 28 goals
as a Sea~Hawk and was honoured as a AUS all-star in all five of her
seasons, including four first team nods.
