Third year midfielder Zach Wade has been named Subway male athlete of the week for his performance against Cape Breton in last weekend’s soccer home openers. After taking last season off, Wade has wasted no time getting back in the game, scoring his second goal of the season on Saturday in a 2-2 tie with the Capers. Although Zach has been fighting off a nagging lower body injury, his performance in Saturday’s game was enough for him to be named the Sea~Hawks player of the game. Only two weeks into the season, Wade already finds himself tied for second in AUS scoring along with teammate Steven DeLong.
