Pritchett and Habib Subway Athletes of the Week

Erica Pritchett and Robbie Habib are the Subway Memorial University Athletes of the Week for the period ending November 15, 2010.

Erica Pritchett

Women’s Cross Country

Year: 5

Major: Medicine

Erica Pritchett finished her Sea~Hawk career on Saturday with a strong performance in the 2010 CIS Cross Country Championship held in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Pritchett, a native of Gambo, Newfoundland, was the fifth AUS runner across the line and the 34^th finisher overall. Pritchett ran the 5 km course in 19:37. The race caps off a fine season for Pritchett that has seen her claim the Memorial Subway Athlete of the Week on three occasions.

Robbie Habib

Men’s Basketball

Year: 3

Major: Commerce

Robbie Habib is the Memorial University Subway Athlete of the Week for his performance on Sunday against UNB in Fredericton. Habib led the Sea~Hawks with 22 points including 7 from the free throw line. The Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia native also was active on the glass joining teammate Justin Alliman with a team-high 7 rebounds. The Sea~Hawks will be back on the home court on November 27 and 28 when they host the Saint Mary’s Huskies in the final home weekend before the Christmas break.
