Sea-Hawks men’s basketball guard pays it forward in East Africa

(Aug. 20, 2014) Last month, Memorial’s men’s basketball guard, Alpha Kisusi, ran a camp for young players in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Having played two seasons for the Sea-Hawks, Kisusi returned to his home town for the first time in two and a half years, to help coach the very same camp where he got the opportunity to sign with Memorial. Sea-Hawks soccer schedule and season outlook

(Jul. 25, 2014) The 2014 Sea-Hawks soccer schedule has been released by the AUS and the season will kick off with home openers on Saturday, September 6 against the University of New Brunswick at King George the Vth Park. This season the Sea-Hawks will host UNB, Université de Moncton, and Mount Allison in the regular season, in addition to the AUS Men’s Soccer Championship. [Read more]

Shooting guard Christian Greenland of St. John’s has committed to Memorial for next season. Greenland, a 6’4, 225 lb shooting guard from Gonzaga High School will join the Sea~Hawks following graduation this spring bringing a shooting range that should stretch the floor for Memorial.
