Sea~Hawks Go Pink Series
Normally Red Means Go ---but for three games this October the Sea~Hawks will Go Pink
October is breast cancer awareness month and the Memorial Sea~Hawks women’s basketball, soccer and volleyball teams have teamed up with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) to take breast cancer down. This fall during three Sea~Hawks games the teams and its supporters will show their support for breast cancer research by collecting pledges and donations for the CBCF.
Event Details
The Go Pink will consist of a number of ways to show your support for breast cancer awareness and research.

The Sea~Hawks will be dedicating their play for the Go Pink game to someone close to them that has been affected by breast cancer.

Leading up to the game the players and coaches will collect pledges and donations.

During the game participants on the other varsity teams will collect donations through the crowd.

Limited edition Sea~Hawks pink t-shirts will be available for sale with $5.00 of every t-shirt sold going towards breast cancer research.

Supporters will be able to purchase a CBCF Frisbee at the game for $5.00 the fan who can throw their Frisbee closest to the Sea~Hawk on center court at basketball will win a special gift package courtesy the CBCF and the Sea~Hawks. Special promotions for soccer and volleyball are also planned.
- Fans are encouraged to Go Pink by wearing pink clothing and by signing the dedication wall where individuals will write the names of people in their lives who have been touched by breast cancer.
